Brand Photography for Business Owners
Actors and Creatives

Hi, I’m Mark, a Headshot and Portrait Photographer based in Brighton.

If you’re looking for someone to take photographs of you, your business or your brand, that have a genuine, honest feel then get in touch

I work with professionals, business owners and actors in Brighton and the South East of England, who need pictures that make them and their brand look confident and authentic.

Headshot Photographer Brighton

Whether we’re shooting in my central Brighton studio, or in your workplace or home, I like to keep the sessions simple, calm and focused, getting to know you, your values and your direction before I reach for the camera.

Photography is much to do with the connection you make with your photographer, this results in far more natural, relaxed pictures.

Making photographs that feel soft and flattering, not harsh or over-styled, means there’s an emphasis on warmth and depth over stark contrast. This gives the photos a comfortable, genuine human quality.

Photographs guaranteed to get you noticed

How it works....

01 Choose your preferred time and date

Go to my Pricing page and click on the Book Now button to choose the date and time that best suits you. If you prefer you can call to discuss and I'll book you in.

02 Arrive and chat

Before a camera is picked up we get to know one another. We discuss what the images will be used for and the variety of styles we'd like to get.

03 Shoot and review

We work with different outfits, backdrops and styles, reviewing the images as we go. The emphasis isn't on overly directing you, but helping you look natural and authentic.

04 choose your favourites

I'll send you a link to your own personal gallery where you can pick the shots you like best ready for editing.

I have a large daylight studio in the centre of Brighton which gets beautiful afternoon sun, and as I only book one client per day we can take our time, working with multiple looks, natural light and also studio light set-ups.

Alternatively you may want me to come to your own space, for this I have a full mobile studio set-up which can be used when shooting bigger teams or at corporate events.

If you want photographs that inspire confidence and visually convey your brand, professionalism and approachability then let’s collaborate on something that will make people stop and learn more.

Frequently Asked Questions....
What is a professional headshot?

A professional headshot is a high-quality portrait designed to represent you across casting platforms, websites, LinkedIn, and marketing materials. As a Brighton headshot photographer, I create clean, natural images that reflect your personality and help you make a strong first impression.

How much do headshots cost in Brighton?

Headshot photography in Brighton typically ranges from £150 to £500 depending on the photographer and package. My premium headshot sessions are £350 and include a relaxed, unlimited-time shoot with five fully retouched images included.

How long does a headshot session take?

My headshot sessions are not time-restricted and usually last around four hours. This gives you time to relax, try different looks, and build confidence in front of the camera, resulting in more natural and varied images.

What should I wear for my headshots?

For headshots, bring a selection of outfits that reflect your personality and the roles or professional image you want to portray. Simple, well-fitted clothing in neutral or muted tones works best, avoiding heavy patterns or logos.

Do you help with posing and direction?

Yes — most people feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, so I guide you throughout the session. I focus on natural direction rather than forced poses, helping you look confident and authentic in your images.

Where are your headshot sessions based?

I’m a Brighton-based headshot and portrait photographer, working from a studio in Central Brighton as well as on location across Brighton and the surrounding areas.

Can I use my headshots for LinkedIn and business use?

Absolutely. My headshots are ideal for LinkedIn profiles, company websites, personal branding, and marketing. A strong professional headshot can instantly elevate your brand and build trust with your audience.

Do you shoot actor headshots in Brighton?

Yes — I regularly work with actors in Brighton who need headshots that show range, personality, and casting potential. We’ll work together to create a variety of looks tailored to your casting goals.

How quickly will I receive my photos?

You’ll receive a private online gallery within 48 hours of your shoot, where you can select your images for retouching.

Can I purchase extra images?

Yes — your session includes a set number of edited images, but you can purchase additional retouched photos at a fixed cost per image.

What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

Most people do — and that’s completely normal. My sessions are designed to be relaxed and collaborative, helping you feel comfortable so we can capture natural, confident expressions.

Do you offer corporate headshots for teams?

Yes — I offer corporate and business headshots for individuals and teams in Brighton, either in the studio or on location.

How often should I update my headshots?

Actors should update their headshots every 1–2 years or after a noticeable change in appearance. Professionals should refresh their headshots every few years to keep their online presence current and relevant.

What makes a good headshot?

A good headshot feels natural, confident, and true to you. It should clearly show your personality while remaining clean, well-lit, and professional — something I focus on in every session.
